We have received hundreds of emails with questions and complaints about what the House and Senate called the “Cash for Clunkers” bill. The term “Cash for Clunkers” is what America and the news media has used to describe an incentive program to purchase new fuel efficient cars for the past six months.

As consumers have learned that their cars will not qualify, they started to express their anger as well as suggestions on how to improve the bill.  That is why we created this website.  This is a place for consumers to express their opinions as well as to sign an online petition that will allow them to tell Congress that they want to see the bill’s language changes.

Contact Your Legislators

Consumers can email, call or write to their legislators and tell them to visit this website to see just how many Americans are looking for change.  Urge your legislators to introduce new language for a bill that would extend the CARS program but with real-life considerations in place.
